For Rona, c’est construire un espace par le récit. Utilisant l’emplacement d’une vieille maison et d’un autobus scolaire en panne dans les bois, les œuvres construisent une histoire à la fois fictive et véridique. Le public est invité à considérer la relation que la mémoire construit avec le lieu et les actes qui s’y sont produits.

Evan Furness est un artiste visuel et étudiant au baccalauréat en arts visuels de quatrième année originaire de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Son travail interdisciplinaire utilise la fiction et la vérité pour raconter des contes ambigus des lieux et des gens qu’il a connus.

For Rona is about building a space through narrative. Using the location of an old house and broken down school bus in the woods, the works construct a story of fiction and truth. It invites the viewer to consider the relationship that memory builds with place, and the acts that have occurred there. 

Evan Furness is a visual artist and fourth year BFA student from Prince Edward Island. His interdisciplinary work uses fiction and truth to tell the ambiguous tales of places and people he has known.
